Dan Thompson is the Manager of the Maternal Infant Health Program at MDHHS. He has over 25 years of management experience in health and human services in a wide variety of settings, including two statewide health care associations and a major regional health system in West Michigan. He has served on the board of directors of a mental health agency and has direct experience as a home visitor, providing counseling to physically and developmentally disabled individuals. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree from Michigan State University.
